Santi hails originally from Oviedo, Spain, but has called the beautiful Samaná Peninsula home for the past 30 years.

He and his Dominican wife Suni are recommended, not just by the small local hotels, but also by most of the better known guides for the independent traveler, such as Lonely Planet, Rough-Guide, Discovery Channel Guide, Trotamundos, National Geographic, Routard, etc.…).

Santi, in El Limón de Samaná, prefers not to work with the larger tour groups and tour operators, his slogans being “Santi Rancho, where friendships are made” and “Santi Rancho, where the visitor is much more than just another Dollar!”

He offers quality at very reasonable prices.

Santi and Suni, known for their friendliness and kindness, are well loved by both visitors and local residents
